Thankfully, the Maya shelf automates these three steps. Simply select your objects and click on the Stylized shelf button. This will add and connect the PxrStylizedController connection : - Enable Stylized Looks (Stylized AOVs)
- Add and connect a PxrStylizedControler to each surface shader.
In addtion, the shelf button adds the 3 DisplayFilters (Toon, Hatching, Lines) and connects them: you'll want to just start with 1 so go ahead and mute or disconnect the ones you're not using in the Features menu- Add a Hatching display filter.
