RenderMan now requires CPUs capable of running the full SSE4.2 instruction set. A minimum of 4GB of RAM is recommendedrequired.  For rendering large scenes with many textures, you will need more RAM.

RenderMan XPU™ requires an NVIDIA graphics card with the Maxwell architecture or later and CPUs capable of running the full SSE4.2 instruction set. A minimum of 11 GB of RAM is recommended and 24 GB of RAM is suggested for best performance. 

For utilizing the NVIDIA Optix A.I. Denoising Denoiser in "it", Optix 7 supported hardware, Nvidia NVIDIA Maxwell and newer is required.
