This is co-developed between SideFx and Pixar's RenderMan group.
- How often is RfH sync up with a RenderMan release?
We try to sync as soon as a RenderMan release is available. For big releases, such as a major version change (not a point release), it will take time especially when a new feature UI is not yet supported in Houdini.
- How do I report bugs and suggestions?
Please post on RenderMan for Houdini Forum.
- When I am not sure if I have a Houdini or RenderMan bug, where should I report it?
If it is RenderMan shaders and output related, please log a bug on the RenderMan for Houdini Forum.
- How do I export RIB?
In the RenderMan ROP, select the Driver tab. Check the box next to Disk File. Specify the rib file. Then hit Render to Disk.
