Toy Story 4 © Disney/Pixar

Pixar used a Split Diopter lens in several shots on Toy Story 4, including this shot above.  See if you can spot the focal planes!

Number of Split Diopters
Number of split diopters lens (minimum 0, maximum 2) being enabled

Split Diopter angle
The angle of the split diopter line(s), CW from the up-axis

Split Diopter Offset 1
Distance of the first split diopter line from the image center, perpendicular to the split diopter axis. Unit is such that distance from the image center to the left (or right) edge is 1

Split Diopter Width 1
Width of the band between the center and first split diopter region, perpendicular to the split diopter axis, where the focal distance is smoothly interpolated. Unit is such that distance from the image center to the left (or right) edge is 1

Split Diopter Focal Distance 1
Focal distance for the first split diopter region, in world space.

Split Diopter Offset 2
Distance of the second split diopter line from the image center, perpendicular to the split diopter axis. Unit is such that distance from the image center to the left (or right) edge is 1

Split Diopter Width 2
Width of the band between the center and second split diopter region, perpendicular to the split diopter axis, where the focal distance is smoothly interpolated. Unit is such that distance from the image center to the left (or right) edge is 1

Split Diopter Focal Distance 2
Focal distance for the second split diopter region, in world space.
